FIRST NIGHT PORT HURON – 2011
Port Huron Northern Band – They will help us to kick off First Night in style with their wonderful music. This band was recently in the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade and Sarnia Parade of Lights.
Jeff Sommerville – Jeff will entertain you with the wonderful sounds of Frank Sinatra music. Jeff’s golden voice and mannerisms will take you back to the good old days.
Cliff Erickson – His charismatic stage presence sets him apart from other performers and his ability to capture an audience has been a welcome addition to the performances of headliners such as Ringo Starr, Kenny Rogers, Jim Carrey and the Beach Boys, among others.
Sonic Vision Dome Theatre – The Immersive Dimension Dome Theatre incorporates the latest developments in projection theater and computer animation to produce a true immersive experience. This mind altering feeling lets your visual senses explore places unseen until now as you enter into the Immersive Dimension.
Whispering Pines Animal Kingdom – They will provide an educational yet fun program for all ages. They will give basic information about each animal and add some interesting facts.
Jim Hoke – Hypnotist –Be a part of one of the most awe-inspiring demonstrations of the power of the human mind….by a master of the amazing art of hypnosis. Entertainment is non-stop. Jim creates an unforgettable memory of therapeutic comedy.
Three Swing Sisters – When you hear the music of Count Basie, Bobby Darin and The Andrews Sisters, you are immediately taken back to the era of Big Band sounds. These three ladies take you back even faster as you watch them perform 40s classics.
Craig Tornquist – He is known for his quick wit, celebrity impressions, novelty songs and hilarious audience participation routines. His brand of completely clean comedy has put smiles on event the most skeptical of faces.
Illusionist Bryan Keefe – Entertainment for the whole family to include magic and illusions.
Richard Paul Ventriloquist – Audiences will laugh out loud at Richard Paul’s outrageous comedy, vocal variety, life like puppets and funny audience interaction. His versatile ventriloquist skills, colorful multitude of characters, sight gags and rip roaring spontaneous improvisational interjections bring about an unforgettable side splitting, head spinning performance.
African Drums and Dancers – same as last year
Blue Water Musicians Network – The evening will be filled with a variety of musicians from guitarist, dulcimers, etc.
Sally Arrendondo will perform the music from teen pop starts Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
